GYMBOREE PLAY IT FORWARD
Park cleanup event where kids and families can volunteer and make a difference in their communities.
Description
The Gymboree Play it Forward event is part of the Grow Happy Challenge. Volunteers get together and clean up a local park or recreational space, picking up trash, repairing equipment, and building community by working together. Families can earn the Play it Forward Badge, write what they love about their park in sidewalk chalk, or get their photos taken at the pop-up photo booth.

How We are Different
This event is different from similar events because it is framed in a context of play and discovery. Families are given Play it forward patches and do a group warmup to music. Games to make cleanup fun are introduced–like park bingo–plants, animals, play equipment, and other resources are pictured on cards for kids to find.

Families get together at a local park for imaginative adaptive yoga and mindful breathing.
Description
This inclusive family event combines outdoor play, mindfulness, and child-led movement to nurture whole family wellbeing. Set in nature, open-ended prompts invite children to move creatively in ways that feel right for them, encouraging imagination, body awareness, and connection while fostering calm, curiosity, and joyful appreciation of the world around them.
